God YHWH forbids in His 10 Commandments to worship other gods, which Christ is not!

Christ is no deity or god-part
Christ Yeshua tells in Proverbs 8:22-31 how he was created by God, was born, and helped as a Servant to create the world as God's Master Workman ("amown" in Proverbs 8:30). Yeshua is therefore definitely not the one true God YHWH, but the Bible does state "that God created everything through and unto Christ":
"For by him (Christ) all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities —all things were created through him and for him.", Col1:16 ESV
All Elohim (Christ, angels, those already taken up) are connected to the one true, Eternal God EL and thus form a Working Unity with God. In this way God works through them, but that does not make them a godhead/deity or gods; but they do live eternally in connection with the Eternal God YHWH. People who are in Christ and connected to God Who is a Spirit (John 4:24) also participate in that same Working Unity! However, they too do neither become a godhead/deity part or gods in this way nor they turn into Christ, but will indeed live eternally in that Connection to God YHWH too:

Don't worship angels, do worship Christ
You may neither worship angels nor those already taken up like Moses, Enoch, and Elijah. Worshipping Christ Yeshua however is certainly allowed literally (John 14:13-14) and figuratively, and is even a condition for building a relationship with him. In that way you practically acknowledge him as Lord and person by talking to him (John5:23!).

HOWEVER: you do not worship Christ as God, godhead or god-part, but as Lord of God, because God has determined it so:
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed upon him the highest title, so that everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth would bow their knees before him who is called Yeshua, and all would openly cry out, to the glory of God the Father: Christ Yeshua is the Lord," Phil 2:9-11 GNB translation
"If you confess with your mouth: Yeshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.", Rom10:9 GNB translation
Note: Phil2:9-11 (above) furthermore states "that you should bow your knees before Christ, which means worshipping him!
Worshipping Christ no idolatry
Christ is not a deity or God-part, nor does he know what God does know (Mark 13:32), so God must give Christ a Revelation with instructions (Revelation 1:1). And whatever is brought under Christ by God will be handed over to God by Christ, and then God will be all in all (1 Cor 15:24-28).

No: Christ is the created Lord of the one true God YHWH. And you therefore worship Christ Yeshua as Lord of God, because God has determined it so. No one can come to God than through Christ; that applies to both Christians from the Gentiles and to the Jews (Ephesians 2:15-18):
