Prayer led me this Sabbath to Hebrews 4:4, which, to my surprise, speaks about God's Rest and entering into it, and not because of a day or land!
"For He has spoken somewhere of the seventh day thus: And God rested on the seventh day from all His work; and here again: never shall they enter into My Rest (#2663)," Hebrews 4:4-5 NBG51 translation

Sabbath not the Heavenly Rest!
God rested on the 7th day Sabbath (Genesis 2:2) and whoever belongs to God will also keep the Sabbath for the same reasons; likewise Paul tells us:
"There therefore remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever has entered into his rest has also himself come to rest from his works, just as God from His. Let us therefore make earnest efforts to enter into that (Sabbath) rest, so that no one falls by following this example of disobedience.
"For forty years I have been offended by that generation; I said: It is a people of wandering heart, and they do not know my ways. Therefore I have sworn in my wrath: They shall not come to my rest!", Ps 95:10-11 NBG51 translation
God commands Christ and Christians (Rev 1:1) to keep His (10) Commandments (Rev 14:12), which James also indicates in Jak 2:10-11, whereby he, for example (verse 11), equates the Law for Christians with the 10 Commandments, including Commandment 4: keep the Sabbath! Not of one's own free will, but with the help of Spirit & Gifts, Romans 8:4.
Heavenly Rest no earthly land either
In Hebrews 4:8, Paul also explains that the land of Canaan (or Israel) is not synonymous with God's Rest:
"For if Joshua had brought them into rest, He would not have spoken [anymore] of another, later day," Hebrews 4:8 NBG51 translation
Jews and Messianic therefore cannot appeal to their land, culture, (old) covenant, or promise! Only this will be their hope...
God's Rest through God's Spirit alone!
True rest or peace follows from living and being in unity with God, as Romans 8:4 already states; not of one's own will, but from God's Will or Spirit. Romans 8:6 also says this:
"striving of the sinful/carnal self leads to death; striving of the Spirit leads to life and peace", GNB translation
Entering to God
It is therefore important to enter into God who is a Spirit (John 4:24) in order to be able to fulfill God's Will and Commandments. In this way, you enter into His Heavenly Rest.
However: no one can go directly to God; that is only possible via Christ, Yeshua states in John 14:6 as follows:
''I am the way, the truth, and the life,' answered Jesus. 'No one can go to the Father only through me'", GNB translation
Christ also says who the Father is in John 20:17, namely:
"I am ascending to my and your Father, to my and your God", GNB translation
You must therefore know Christ, and God YHWH also says Christ in John 17:3
"This is eternal life: that they may know Thee, the one true God, and Christ Yeshua whom Thou has sent", NBG51 translation
Do not harden your heart regarding faith
Not by one's own works, culture or insights, but only God's Grace through His Son and High Priest Yeshua leads to salvation; through Yeshua afterwards, enter into God YHWH. Enter into His Heavenly Shalom!
So get to know Yeshua and believe in him, confess him as Lord of God, Rom 10:9. Love him as you do God YHWH also!

Yeshua is the Door to God; through him alone can you ultimately enter to God YHWH Who is a Spirit.
