Christ Yeshua was created and born first destined to be the highest servant of God YHWH !
Created Co-Creator & High Priest
God YHWH created Christ Yeshua first Col1:15-16 and Prov8:22-31 tell us; as co-Creator.
Intended as a High Priests from birth
Yet God intended Christ to be His Highpriest from his birth on as Hebrews5:5 tells us indirectly:
"So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an Highpriest; but He that said unto him, Thou art My Son, today have I begotten thee".
The only Heavenly High Priest
Earthly High Priests sacrificed the blood of animals, but our Heavenly Highpriest sacrificed his own blood:
"For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the High Priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered outside the gate.", Hebrews11:11-12
"Redemption Through Christ's blood
But when Christ appeared as a High Priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)
he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.", Hebrews9:11-12
Sacrificed yet Alive & Active!
Don't mistake the sacrifice for his current role/task serving as High Priest of the one true God YHWH:
"Yeshua, High Priest of a Better Covenant
Now the point in what we are saying is this: we have such a High Priest, one who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven", Hebrews8:1
Christ Protos & Eschatos of God
Yeshua is in multiple ways the first ('protos') and the last ('eschatos') of God YHWH:
1. Firstborn, Col 1:15
2. First from the dead, Acts26:23, Rom8:11
3. First of all creatures, Phil2:9-11
4. Last to be subjected to God, 1Cor15:28.
And God YHWH of course is the Alpha and Omega.
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation", Col 1:15
"That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles", Acts26:23.
"If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you", Romans 8:11.
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Christ Yeshua is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.", Phil2:9-11.
"When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to Him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.", 1Cor15:28
Yeshua: Highest Servant of God
Christ serves his and our God YHWH (John20:17) in a spiritual unity as all heavenly creatures are and serve God.
"I ascend to my and your Father, to my and your God", John20:17.
In that same spiritual connection to God Christians also serve God and Christ of course.
Christians worship Christ as Lord/High Priest of God and believe with their heart God raised him from the dead, Romans 10:9. Thus they believe in 1 true God and 1 Lord Christ, John17:3.
"Confess Christ as Lord and believe with your heart God raised him from the dead and you will be saved", Romans 10:9.
"This is life eternal: that they know Thee the one true God and Christ Yeshua whom Thou has sent", John17:3.
