Daniel's statue: a golden head, shoulders/arms of silver, a bronze belly/hips, legs of iron, feet of iron/clay; the worldly power and spiritual past and future!
Babylon: the head of gold
Daniel with the Help of God explains the king of Babylon and his Kingdom is that head of gold (Dan2:37-38) of that statue in his dreams. That the statue consist of different materials -getting inferior going down in time- shows that spiritually it is still Babylon.
Also the empires starting with Babylon are the root, past and future in which we now live. Babylon followed by Medo-Persia, Greek Empire, Roman Empire and Roman Vatican/EU royalty; the Roman iron mixed with the EU clay.
Babylonian paganism still exists
The paganism that already existed in Babylon was passed through to Medo-Persia, to Greek and Roman empire, the Vatican and in the EU in multiple ways. The trinity sungodhead with Father godhead Baalder, Mother goddess Easter and Child god/reincarnation of Baalder called Tammuz or Attis are worshipped.

The whole world keeps/celebrates their days. And church trinity godhead and condensed biune godhead are made by Roman Emperor Constantine by their model. All churches are in Babylon. That's why God YHWH calls His People out of Babylon; both world and church:
"And he called out with a mighty voice, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!", Rev18:2 ESV
"Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues", Rev18:4 ESV
Past, present & future Babylon
The world and churches will remain Babylon even during the return of Christ when the resurrection of the dead and Rapture will take place. Those in Babylon will receive plagues and Judgment. Only those that leave Babylon to become a Christian will be spared and take part in the Rapture.
Leaving Babylon quietly & wisely
It needs to start with the awareness that the worldly organized churches are not Heavenly organized and neither of God YHWH neither of Christ Yeshua. That's why God calls His People out of there!
Also biblical knowledge leading to biblical saving faith is needed:
#1. "Confess Christ as Lord and believe with your heart God raised him from the dead and you will be saved", Romans 10:9.
To do so: pray first to Christ (John14:13-14), call him by his true Hebrew name Yeshua and tell him you are sorry of your past ways and beliefs, but you confess him as your Lord of God YHWH and your Savior.
Next pray to God YHWH, yet with an appeal on the name of Christ Yeshua (John16:23) and say you are sorry of doing Him and Christ wrong in faith and acknowledge Him as the one true God YHWH, a Spirit John4:24:

#2. Share your new insights of faith with the few baptized* most trusted people you know and let them also pray to Christ first and next to God YHWH with an appeal on Christ's name as you did.
#3. Keep a humble praise together; praise God YHWH and praise Christ Yeshua with songs and music of praise. Lay your right hand on your most trusted friend and pray to God YHWH with an appeal on the name of Christ Yeshua to please give Spirit and Gifts. Pray with whatever is given in your mind and keep on watching while you pray to see things happening and changing. Let them also lay on their right hand(s) on you and pray for you the same way.
*Baptism, immersion underwater in the name of Christ (Acts19:5, Gal3:27) is always basis and needed! In case of doubt be baptized in a lake, river, sea, a local/private swimming pool at a suitable place for it.
#4. Now you have spiritually left Babylon you also need to leave it physically: end your church membership by registered letter and ask for prove of deregistration!
As soon as you spiritually are awake and came to life your dead church remainder will notice that. They will be very puzzled, but also scared. On the one hand they want to keep you in their midst because you look so alive and precious, but on the other hand you are a threat that way too. Sooner or later you will notice that being alive doesn't mix with the dead; let it be sooner than later. Avoid getting into problems, fights, family quarrels and other unpleasantness.
On the straight and narrow now
You now have to trust in God YHWH and in the Christ of God. Your daily prayer for Guidance, Forgiveness and Protection is very important. Keeping Gods 10 Commandments including the (4th Commandment) weekly Sabbath (Friday sunset till Saturday sunset) of God (Ex20:8-11) and of Christ (Matt12:8) and their Feasts. And in particular the annual Lord's Supper during sunset of the 1st Day of the FUB. Because you commemorate the Sacrifice of Christ that way and you renew your Covenant through him that way; always with unleavened bread and unleavened wine (grape juice) and already baptized!
A lonely but blessed way!
Going on this narrow road that way you will grow spiritually and hardships will follow but also are a part of that growth. At the same time you get more personal with Christ and God that way; you build up a relationship with both of them and you get closer with them!
