The end is near and the enemy wants to hand out his mark. But how do you receive God's Mark instead so you stay safe?!
"And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads. Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast — that is, his name or his number." Revelation 13:16-17
Regardless of the name of the (2nd) beast (US) and its image (UN), it is more important to know how to receive God's Mark in thought, action, and fruitage. So, playing a guessing game about what or who 666 might be is unnecessary. The most important thing now is to receive God's Mark and do everything to achieve it, striving for it, and not letting anything or anyone stop you!
God's Sign is also a name!
The devil is a copycat, and the fact that he gives a name sign on forehead ("in thought") and right hand ("in action") so one can be productive in the world ("buying, trading") is no coincidence at all. God does the same with His People yet His Mark does not lead to our own will or the world to sin, but to God's Will (Guidance through His Spirit connected to our spirit) to the Fruit of the Spirit thus to eternal life!
"In him (Christ Yeshua) alone there is salvation. There is no other name given to men on earth by which we must be saved," Acts 4:12.
The name God gives to save people is not His own name (YHWH), but the one true name of His Christ: YESHUA.
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned; whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God," John 3:18.
Receiving the Name of Christ
Believing in the true, Hebrew name of Christ Yeshua is therefore necessary. Without that true name, you are already condemned to the mark of the devil and a fiery final judgment. But how to receive the name Yeshua?!
"Baptism has united you all to Christ; you have put on Christ as a garment," Gal 3:27.
"And when they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Yeshua," Acts 19:5.
God's Guidance in the name Yeshua
However, through that name Yeshua, the Christian does not receive their own will leading to the world and sin, but instead God's Will to go out with and work, leading to God's Fruit and thus leading to life eternal.
Receiving God's Spirit (after baptism of faith) occurs through prayer with the laying on of hands. This is also how you receive the Gifts of the Spirit: the Tools to go out with actively in service of Christ and neighbours so you do not fall asleep.
Being that Personal, Proactive Christian
The Mark of God, however, is not static and formal, but dynamic and informal. That Mark only remains valid and perpetuated as long as you, as a Christian, actively use the Gifts of the Spirit. So it's definitely not a matter of "just stamping it and you're done"!
"For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened, tasted the heavenly Gift, become partakers of the Holy Spirit, tasted the good word of God and the miracles of the coming age, and then have committed apostasy, to renew them again to repentance, since they are crucifying the son of God for themselves all over again and holding him up to contempt." Hebrews 6:4-6.
God's Sign & Guidance on your way
Equipped, guided, and proactive, you then continue as a Christian toward the end. In prayer, you ask for blessings, help, encouragement, helpers on your way, healing, a straight and narrow path to keep moving forward, wisdom, creativity, and much more that God will lead you in during your prayer.
In the meanwhile, the devil will continue with his plans until God intervenes and sends Christ to bring His People to Him. Until then, I want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 23:
"YHWH is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of YHWH forever."
