Daily regularity in your prayer

God YHWH as your Father (with an appeal on Christ; John 16:23) and Christ Yeshua (John 14:13-14) as your personal Savior you want to involve in your daily life. For Protection, Guidance, to thank, to praise and for others around you.

My experience is that this basic regularity of prayer can be established well by praying fixedly:

#1. In the morning after waking up in your bed.

#2. When you leave the house to go on your way, standing behind your door before you open it.

#3. In the evening just before you go to sleep in your bed.

Start by thanking for the (new) day and for where you were blessed or for what you received, praise God and Christ, ask for Protection and Guidance for that day or night.

With this fixed basis you will notice that you will soon come to further expansion of the basis, for example by praying for others and their needs.  And that you also want to pray at other times.

Praise, thanksgiving are always important as a start of your prayer. That way you honor God and Christ, that way you praise them and that way you get their ear for everything else that you put before them!
