Christ next to the Almighty

Faulty insights due to Revelation 1:8-16

This Bible part is confusing and causes church people to call Christ "the Almighty" and to say he is the Alpha & Omega...

"I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, the beginning and the ending, Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty.", Revelation 1:8.

"Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches", Revelation 1:11-12.

"‭And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man", Revelation 1:13.

Bible is the Truth as a whole

To properly understand Rev. 1:8 and Rev. 1:11-16 it's important not to discard everything you already know from the Bible before the book of Revelation.

1. You know that God created Christ first (Colossians 1:15) before Creation began (Proverbs 8:22-31) and that Christ then lived with God in God's eternal glory before the earth existed (John 17:5, John 1:2). God YHWH alone is the Eternal and therefore the Alpha. And Christ is the first(born) of God.

2. You know that Christ is the Assistant of God during Creation (Proverbs 8:30) as God's Workman ('Amown') and thus created (Colossians 1:16, 1 Corinthians 8:6).

3. You know that the one true God sent us Christ (John 17:3).

4. You know that God raised Christ from the dead (Romans 10:9).

5. You know that Christ sits at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19) as His High Priest, Hebrews 5:5, 6:20, 8:1-2.

6. You know that Christ will be sent again at a time when only God knows (Mark 13:32). Thus God is the Almighty not Christ.

7. You know Christ returns everything that God places under him to God, and then God will be all in all (1 Corinthians 15:24-28). Thus Christ is the last and God is the Omega.

8. And you know that the created being Christ is a servant of God: Worker, sent master, sent messenger, the Messiah, the High Priest, and even Ambassador soon to the new Earth, Rev. 21:23.

Christ works as a servant in a working unity with God. God YHWH, who is a Spirit (John 4:24), works through him and gives him the Power and Strength to do so. And Christ personifies/embodies the strength and power of God, 1Cor1:24.

"Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.‭", 1Cor1:24.

Christians work in Christ in THAT SAME WORKING UNITY, hence the Spiritual Gifts that God gives to work with!

Hebrews 6:4-5 therefore also speaks of powers:

"and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come."

In that working unity, Christians do not become God or Christ, because Christ lives.  And God is a Spirit and someone else; the one eternal Almighty God YHWH. God is the Alpha & Omega!

Now understand Rev. 1:8 and 1:11-16!

Christ lives in a working unity with the one true God and is sent to us. God can speak through him, and yet it is Christ who goes but never without God YHWH.

This is clearest in Rev. 1:11-12, because in that working unity with God, Christ works. However, God (Alpha & Omega) speaks first through him, but Christ himself also stands there (first and last of God) as verse12-18 shows.

And John is in the Spirit he says in verse 10. Therefore, God, who is a Spirit (John 4:24), will certainly also speak!

Anyone who starts with the pagan church, triune or biune godhead that comes from Babylon cannot understand this or does not want to understand it!

Yet Christ says that there is one true God (a Spirit, John 4:24) and one Lord Christ, sent by God (John 17:3).

Paul also says this in 1 Corinthians 8:6. And in Romans 10:9 he says this:

"Confess Christ as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved."

With a triune or biune God, you have no (created!) Lord before God, and you call Christ a liar. That way, you are not saved, Roman10:9. That way, you do not receive eternal life, John 17:3.

So turn away from the deceptive church programming and avoid biased understandings that way conflicting with Christ and his teachings.
