Church gospel to idolatry?!

The church Gospel (John 3:16-18) leads to mass idolatry with the trinity godhead/biunity godhead from Babylon;  John 17:3 however doesn't!

John17:3 vs. John3:16-18

The good news (=Gospel) namely leading to eternal life is the same in both passages, but the content is not:

“And this is life eternal: that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent”, John 17:3

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world, that  he condemned the world, but that the world through him might be saved. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. ", John 3:16-18

What is immediately striking is that the shorter, clearer Gospel of John17:3 is about "the only true God and knowing Jesus", while John 3:16-18 is about "God and believing in the only son Jesus and in the name  of Christ” [which they do not because it is not Jesus!].  So in churches you really only need faith in Jesus: easy and convenient with their "all-in-one godhead", because God is then Jesus and Jesus is God.  Only that goes against what Christ says in John 14:1 and John 20:17, namely:

  • “Believe in God, believe also in me.”
  • “I ascend to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”

The God of Christ is also our God, so is someone other than Christ.  Moreover, "God YHWH is a Spirit" Christ says in John4:24 and is God's Own Spirit states 1Corinthians2:11, so the Spirit is not a 3rd person. And Christ has a risen body, Romans 10:9.

"For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.", 1Corinthians2:11

"if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved", Romans 10:9.

But what about “the Father and I are one,” (John 10:30)?  One and the same person is no longer an option because of John 17:3, John 14:1 and John 20:17.

In Hebrews 5:5 it also becomes clear that Jesus is a servant of God, namely a High Priest.  And God is not His Own High Priest and not His Own servant.  However, an unambiguous partnership/working relationship is necessary and that is the case, because Jesus is connected by his spirit to God who is a Spirit, Romans 8:11.

"So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by Him who said to him, You are My Son, ‭today I have begotten you”;‭ ‭as He says also in another place, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." Hebrews 5:5.

“If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”  , Romans8:11.

And yes, Christ also received God's Spirit who "descended on him like a dove after he was baptized," as we know from Matthew3:16.

That spiritual unity or working unity with God who is a Spirit, therefore applies to all people including the Son of Man Christ!

All creatures that are connected to God YHWH are thus eternally living beings as if they are gods.  Together with God EL they are called the Elohim;  "the plural form" of God.  And yet it is important to realize that there is nevertheless only 1 God and 1 Lord Christ:

"For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth —as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”—‭ ‭yet for us there is one God, the Father, from Whom are all things and for Whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.‭" (1Cor 8:5-6).

John 3:16-18 offers churches the opportunity to program into the trinity or biunity godhead idolatry from Babylon, but anyone who reads these verses must realize that believing in the only son of God is not possible without God himself, because the one true God is YHWH  sent us Christ:

“And this is life eternal: that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent”, John 17:3

Without Christ Yeshua (baptism of faith) there is no Grace and no access to God who is a Spirit (Acts4:10-12).

Without the Eternal God who is a Spirit  there is no link to eternal life!

So you need both Christ and God.  Christ is not the way to himself!  The broad church road with church faith and ditto gospel is not to eternal life, but to the broad church gate of destruction.  So choose the true, clear, shorter, true Gospel according to Christ in John17:3 because this verse contains the complete, necessary faith.
