Christ's true name is the Hebrew name Yeshua meaning "he that saves us from our sins". A truly needed name: John3:18!

Never liked the name Jesus

My musical worship leader wanted me to play the Hillsong song "Jesus what a beautiful name", but I refused to play it. He was totally astonished! "Why not?!" he asked. I said I definitely don't like that name. In Dutch it means "your sister" and it is used as a cursing- and mockery word as well. I couldn't fathom how God with the beautiful name YAHWEH (YHWH) could give His Son such a dead, dull and sharp sounding name I thought as a musician...

And believe me I was very sad about that name! Jesus!! And I was not going to lie about it playing and singing that praise song!

Overjoyed with his true name!

In I think 2003 I found out Christ's true name is Yeshua; a Hebrew name with a meaning. Not just a fabricated phonetic ugly name. Sounding to me as the sound of the sea, the rain, the wind and alive. I was totally astonished and happy. Yes: into tears even. How could they have swapped his name for the sharp and dead sounding pagan name Jesus?!

Yet Bible only knows Jesus

I loved the name and him and immediately started speaking about Yeshua and to Yeshua, but on sign2God it was another matter. Because the Bible I refer to doesn't know Yeshua. Even the Peshitta Bible doesn't know him, but uses the mocking name "Yeshu" instead meaning "he that is blotted out of the Scriptures". And that's exactly what both church Christianity and the Jewish did using them fake names!!!

Also I was afraid using the name Yeshua wouldn't work to make people connect to Christ and the Gospel, because even non-believers are already church programmed into pagan Jesus through movies, books and the pagan Xmas...

Every year more aversion

During the years my aversion against the pagan church name Jesus grew and the last 5 years or so I refused to use that name in writing. And recently a thought came to me saying "Using a wrong name even with the best intentions misleads the people". That hit me hard! 😭

So I immediately decided to blot out the phonetic fabrication "Jesus" on the sign2God website; bit by bit. A huge job because it's about 300 papers written. So it can be you read a paper and suddenly pagan Jesus is gone from it and changed into the true name Yeshua!

sign2God: Yeshua only!

Surely I will use Jesus sometimes but I will also immediately explain that his true name is Yeshua. Thus trying to erase church programming and setting it straight.

Make it personal!

Use the true Hebrew name of Christ Yeshua when you pray to him (John14:13-14), when you praise him too (John5:23) and when you confess him as the Lord of God, Romans10:9.

"Confess Christ as Lord and believe with your heart God raised him from the dead and you will be saved", Romans 10:9

Only in that name we are saved, Acts4:10-12.
