The satan is a chameleon and likes to do anything to mimic what is God's and Christian. And if it looks like it enough, again many in deception to deformity and ruin run "off the narrow track" after him. Examples?
• Being a worldly organization member instead of being a heavenly organized personal Christian;
• An unbelieving baby sprinkling to the church instead of faith baptism by immersion to Jesus (Galatians 3:27, Acts 19:5);
• An all-in-one baptism into the church all-in-one godhead instead of the baptism of faith (Galatians 3:27) into Christ; followed by prayer with the laying on of hands to God who is Spirit, John 4:24; (Acts 19:5+6)
• Church Sundays and holidays determined by the worst idols from Babylon instead of God's Feasts on God's Calendar
• Adjusted calendars and visions of the Bible that serve an earthly culture and earthly future instead of being taken by Jesus and angels to God in Heaven (1Thessalonians 4:14-17) and later going back to a new Earth upon which a new Heavenly Jerusalem will descend (Revelation 21:2).
Ah: everything the Bible says and what Jesus says is maliciously cloned into deception. Often it is worldly organizations with ditto leaders who "for power and the greater good" mislead the crowd and bring them to eternal ruin. And apparently the individual "wants to fit in"; for structure, discipline, upbringing & children, for confirmation, and so on. So those organizations work like magnets.
But it may seem so close to what is Christian and even call itself Christian, yet it lacks the spiritual authenticity that immediately does not go hand in hand with the great, not with the broad way to the broad gate. Not with a half or even smaller truth. Not with adjustments to what God has established, decreed or forbidden.
"For the gate and the way that leadeth to destruction are wide and broad, and many go that way." Matthew 7:13.
"Those who belong to God keep His commandments and faith in Jesus, and are steadfast therein." Revelation 14:12.
“Let no man therefore judge you in food or in drink, or in regard to a feast day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbaths which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is Christ's." Colossians 2:16-17.
And the individual who has been attracted by the attractive fake is therefore "off the narrow path". Apparently the narrow path to the narrow gate was not attractive enough. Often it is said "but God sees the hearts anyway, so it will be all right". After the 2nd World War, many Germans who followed along said "ich habe es nicht gewust", but that did not help them.
"But strait and narrow are the gate and the way that lead to life, and few find it." Matthew 7:14
Individuals who consciously choose fake through mass, group, organization, culture, glory now, false days and parties get their pay now. An advance made on the basis of bias, lack of faith, firmness and honesty. Because let's be honest: their example to others was dishonest and thus misleading others. And then you are off the narrow track just like the one who consciously created the fake in lies and who is next to outside the truth.
Not the necessary individual training and determination as David underwent and had in the solitude with the sheep. Not hearing God's Voice and acting on it and walking or relying on it. Not growing as a person on that narrow path with God's Spirit. And the fruit of your works is not the fruit of the Spirit unto eternal life...
So think carefully about where you stand. Do you sometimes also think:
• "what difference does it make whether it is the sabbath or sunday; it's only one day?!"
• "what does it matter: church member or Christian"?
• "What difference does it make: church feasts or God's Feasts"?
• "what does it matter: Jewish cultural festivals or God's Feasts on God's Calendar"?
• "Isn't just being good just as good as fulfilling God's 10 Commandments"?
• "an adapted theological future or Rapture is also quite possible, right?".
That voice is not from God!!!
Know what you choose, because a half-truth is a formative whole lie that shows a lack of faith. In this way you miss your target and you suffer the same fate as the one who made you continue in deception with his fakes next to the truth.
