Laying on hands not for activation

More and more churches are becoming aware of prayer with the laying on of hands after the baptism of faith.  Probably also because of questions from their own church members about this.  And in order to keep members involved and to make them a little more comfortable, some churches are changing their view on prayer with the laying on of hands...

In any case, most churches have prayer with the laying on of hands; often only "for official ordination" (of ministers) or for "rites of healing".  While the Bible tells us that prayer with the laying on of hands is actually meant for every Christian to receive the Spirit and Spiritual Gifts (Acts 19:6, Acts 8:17-18), provided that one is baptized before it which leads to Christ (alone) (Galatians 3:27, Acts  19:5).

What's new in Churchland?  That it is now teaching that "prayer with the laying on of hands is necessary for the activation of (already received) Spiritual gifts (with the all-in-one baptism to the all-in-one church deity)" which is a pertinent lie!!

After all: Acts 8:17-18 states:

"Then Peter and John laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. When Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Spirit was given...".

And also Acts 19:6 states:

"Paul laid his hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came upon them. They spoke in strange tones and prophesied."

Obviously the people received the Spirit and Gifts through prayer with the laying on of hands;  so no "activation" of previous reception.  Even better: Acts 8:16 also makes it clear that baptism alone would not have led to the Spirit and the reception of the Gifts of the Spirit:

"For the Spirit had not yet come upon any of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

Also in Acts 19:5 baptism was performed in this way and that is why Acts 19:6 tells that through prayer with the laying on of hands the Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit were received.

Some church theologians then claim that it was "because they didn't baptize in 3 names" [which actually are no true names].  That pagan clincher is easily countered by asking "were there apostles first, and did they baptize thus; or were there first church theologians and their sages"?  Or to put it another way: do Christians follow the example of the apostles or of the later pagan rites of dito church theologians?

The Bible makes it clear that the baptism of faith (= adult immersion / with knowledge of faith) is only to Christ in Galatians 3:27 and not to God who is a Spirit:

"Baptism has united you all to Christ; you have put on Christ as a garment."

No wonder, therefore, that after the Outpouring of God's Spirit period, prayer with the laying on of hands must be done after baptism, because with baptism alone you do not receive God's Spirit and Spiritual Gifts as Acts 8:16 also states above.

So with baptism you do not receive (inactive) Spiritual gifts.  And with the church's all-in-one deity (3 unity or 2 unity or only deity) with this baptism you will never come to God YHWH who is Spirit...

This false "activation church doctrine" may lead to church prayer with the laying on of hands after baptism, but with the church's all in one deity idolatry, that activation church rite does not lead to God and does not lead to the receipt of the Spiritual Gifts.  Simply put: what was not received cannot be activated, but truly receiving Spirit and Spiritual Gifts also immediately leads to activation, because the Eternal God who is Spirit always works!!!

"But he said to them, My Father works continually, and so do I", John 5:17.

"God is a Spirit.",  John 4:24.

In fact, teaching inactive Gifts of the Spirit along with an inactive Spirit indicates that they do not believe in a living God!

"Simon Peter answered, 'You are the Christ, the son of the living God!'" Matthew 16:16

“And also, The LORD shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!” Hebrews 10:30-31.

Is it now clear to you that the "activation-church doctrine" is not Biblical and is not correct, but are you now also clear that this is because of the pagan church idol that the church does not want to give up?  Then be sure to read more here:
