The name Jesus is not the true and needed name (!John3:18) of Christ, because it's the phonetic out of Greek Latinized name of Christ. Christ wasn't born in the Latinized church neither in Greece. But what is his true name then?
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God", John3:18.
Yet Yeshu is also a mocking name actually referring to "he that is blotted out of the Scriptures". Jewish deny Christ as Christ of God YHWH so they want him and his name deleted.
What remains is the name Yeshua short from Yehoshua in the Old Testament. His true name meaning "he that saves them from their sins".
My experience is that when church people argue about the true and needed name of Christ (John3:18) they only use their (pro-)Aramaic views to sow mist in order that they can continue to use the Latinized Jesus church name. Also John3:18 states that doing so causes them to be judged already:
"is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God", John3:18
I showed here that Aramaic is no option when you are a true Christian. So accept the true Hebrew name of Christ: Yeshua!
