Church members talk about their trinity or biunity church god. Jehovah's are witnesses of their jhvh god. Judaism only worships God. Christians however are witnesses of their Lord: Christ Yeshua.
“Confess Christ as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved,” Romans 10:9
Christians know that salvation begins with Christ and not with God. Christ means "Anointed of God". He was sent by God, Christ says in John 17:3 as follows:
“This is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent.”
Moreover, God has determined that not in His Name (JAH/YHWH), but that only in the name of Christ (Yeshua) there is salvation. And without that name you will no longer come to God!
“What all of you and all the people of Israel must know is this: This man stands before you safe and sound by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You crucified him, but God raised him from the dead. the stone which you the builders despised, but has become the cornerstone. In him alone is salvation; there is no other name given to men here on earth by which we shall be saved.", Acts 4:10-12.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus answered. “No one can come to the Father except through me,” John 14:6.
Christians also work on behalf of Christ as we read in Matthew 28:19 (genuine version 3rd century) in which he says: "Go and make disciples of all nations."
It is important that those who testify of Christ and follow his assignment understand that it is God who provides the equipment for this:
"Peace,” Jesus said again. “As the Father* has sent me, so am I sending you.” After these words he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”, John 20:21-22.
*In John 20:17, Christ states that “his Father is also our Father, and his God is also our God.”
After the Outpouring Period of God's Spirit (Acts 2:38) where you also received the Gifts with baptism, you receive the Gifts of the Spirit through prayer with the laying on of hands after the baptism of faith, Acts 19:5+6, Acts 8:16-18. Read more here: reconnecting with God Who is a Spirit
So it is extremely important to also know Christ Yeshua and God YHWH as Christ says in John 17:3, meaning that you believe in them both:
“Believe in God, believe also in me,” says Christ in John 14:1.
Christians are therefore witnesses and disciples and workers of Christ. And he is not God YHWH who is Spirit (John 4:24, 1Corinthians 2:11), but the High Priest or Servant of God:
“Let us hold fast the faith which we profess, having an exalted high priest who has entered into heaven, Jesus the Son of God,” Hebrews 4:14.
God is not His Own High Priest!
- So anyone who only talks about God before and after is not a Christian!
- Whoever only witnesses of God under any name does not witness of Christ!
- Anyone who only prays to God* and/or does not pray with an appeal to the name of Christ (Yeshua) will not be heard by God or will not be saved!
*Praying to Christ is also possible, says Christ in John 14:13-14. This is the way how you build your relationship with Christ.
The real name of Christ is not Greek phonetically Latinized Jesus, but Hebrew Yeshua which means "he who saves people from their sins" because of the sacrifice of the cross that God accepted for all who accept Christ:
“And God raised Jesus from the dead. Now if the Spirit of God dwells in you, God who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies by the power of his Spirit who dwells in you", Romans 8:11.
Although Christians are witnesses of Christ: without God or God's Spirit (God is a Spirit; John 4:24!), they cannot do anything, just like Yeshua.
Read here how you can receive God's Spirit & Gifts.
Only witnessing to Christ and being concerned with His name is certainly not the intention:
“Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord! Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven. We have prophesied your name, and in your name we have cast out demons and done many wonders. And I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; get out of my sight, you evildoers.'" Matthew 7:21-23.
So don't focus on Christ alone, neither on God alone. Be sure to build a relationship with Christ as well as with God YHWH.
