Especially then!

When things get tough...

The stress skyrockets, everything seems to go wrong, everything seems to collapse, everything becomes painful, you're not being heard, you feel misunderstood, and so on.

I find myself praying becomes very difficult then. My patience is almost gone. I explode in my thoughts. I let it all out. The pain breaks through. I can't do it anymore and see no way out...

Yet I realize that a prayer—no matter how limited and small—to God, calling on Christ Yeshua, can change everything, often even in a short time:

"Father, please help me, in Yeshua's name I ask you"...

"Father the pain blocks my thoughts and actions. Can you please ease it, take it away, in Yeshua's name I ask you this."

"I don't know how to proceed anymore, Father, please bring clarity; in Yeshua's name."

These are just three small, simple examples, but together with your state and emotions, you can be very clear to God in sincerity. So definitely expect help and noticeable change(s).

See how peace returns, how after a short time everything falls into place, how events, pain and other feelings suddenly change. I've experienced this so often, yet I have to learn again and again not to block myself in prayer. I think this is the case for many Christians.

Keep praying to God in the name of Christ Yeshua (John 16:23) or to Yeshua directly (John 14:13-14); no matter how small your prayer is. So don't give up, don't give in to fear, and don't let it paralyze you. Don't let stress drive you crazy, and don't let violence or pain control you and silence you. But speak it out, name it, say how you feel, ask for help, protection, peace, blessings, healing. Make it personal and sincere. Many words are really not necessary.

Specifically for pain, dizziness, nausea, headaches, depression, etc., I can recommend silent prayer. Briefly describe what's going on and specifically where—if possible, also with the laying on of your hand(s) on that spot/place—and ask your Father (God!) for help in the name of Yeshua. While walking my pain disappears as suddenly as it comes.  Nausea resolves and rest relieves headaches or depression. Truly! When I told her and asked about it, it turned out Josien did the same herself and found relief too many times. God wants to be asked and become part of our lives; we can also be tested and prepared for what is to come.

So pray, ask and seek peace; alone or in prayer together. And give thanks for what you receive! God works always!
