7 Diabetes lowering hacks

Basis of 100% plantbased needed

Almost everyone knows diabetes is caused by FAT and more specific by eating all animal foods (which include hormones that ensure rapid fat intake and inflammation factors causing animal protein) thus blocking sugar from the cells what we call "Diabetes".

So the fight against diabetes2 starts with switching to a 100% Plantbased eating and no longer eating meat, dairy, eggs, fish or oily fastfood. Next step is getting rid of accumulated fat by eating oats with boiled water, flax, curcumine, ginger, cardamom, apple, blueberries, banana, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.

7 additional hacks no-one thinks of

After you get the needed 100% PLANTBASED basis you need patience and perseverance, but also insight in which habits are keeping the blood sugar values high:

#1. Avoid drinking coffee

Caffeine increases cortisol that pushes the liver to dump glycogen into the bloodstream causing a spike in your sugar and sugar value.

#2. Avoid drinking decaf

Decaf contains much less caffeine but does exactly the same as normal coffee so you end up with a sugar and sugar value spike.

#3. Avoid using sweetener tabs

Surprisingly all normal sweeteners are bad for health (except Stevia) yet they and also Stevia provide a sugar spike in an unexpected way: you taste sweet and your body thinks food is coming and starts making insulin, but there's no food coming! Then the liver decides to neutralize the process by dumping glycogen in the bloodstream and in that way causing a sugar spike and spiking your sugar value!

#4. Avoid Blue screens, phones, tv

Being busy on your phone or watching blue screens causes rising Cortisol and as a cause the liver starts dumping glycogen which causes a blood sugar spike and rising blood sugar values.

#5. Avoid stress (before going to sleep)

Stress is the most underestimated part by Diabetic people. With a high Cortisol as a result but usually never really going down either. So your sugar spike stays high whatever you do!  Good remedies are:

A. Unplug your phone, TV and PC before 20:30.

B. Only drink tea during the evening especially Chamomile tea. Breath the steam in during drinking through your nose. It calmes you down spiritually and bodily.

C. Listen to Psalms for sleep* on your headphones on a low sound level. Lay on your couch and relax.

D. Read a book before going to sleep. Nothing heavy, but traveling literature or romantic or humoristic.

*The "Psalms for Sleep" by The Psalms Project is an album of 11 quiet, soothing acoustic arrangements of various Psalms, including Psalms 91, 4, 34, 121, 23, 42, 8, 13, 1, 15, and 45. The album features new acoustic versions of some songs and was released on June 17, 2022. You can find and purchase the album on The Psalms Project's website, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.

#6. Eat a banana as desert

The Magnesium in the banana helps lowering Cortisol (improves glucocorticoids metabolism) and makes you relaxed or sleepy.

#7. MSM powder 2 hours after dinner

MSM powder lowers the Cortisol levels. Especially as I noticed when you take a coffee spoon in some water 2 hours after dinner (around 20:00 but not later than 21:00). I don't know why but I know it doesn't work immediately taken after dinner.

With this evening protocol daily and the 100% Plantbased lifestyle as a basis you will be much more successful in getting the sugar values down. So if you use medicines be very careful you don't get too low values! You may even need to stop using meds, but always do so in contact with your physician and keep monitoring your blood values yourself and quarterly by blood work (HbA1c).

Don't ever avoid fruit & vegetables!

Last but not least: don't start avoiding carbs and do keep eating fruit and vegetables. They contain the needed fibre, phytonutrients, vitamins and other needed healthy stuff your body especially needs. The fibre will help getting rid of most Plantbased sugar, the phytonutrients block intake of it in the gut and the fibre helps you getting rid of fat. Also your body needs to stay accustomed to processing sugar in the body. So keep eating fruit and vegetables daily.
