If you become a Christian through the baptism of Jesus (=in Jesus name, true name Yeshua, Galatians 3:27) and afterwards (only) receive the laying on of hands and receive God's Gifts and are connected to God through the Spirit (Acts19:6, Acts8:16-18) you will not become 'god' or Christ yourself. After all, they both live in Heaven themselves. As a Christian you keep your own identity and your own free choice and so you will undoubtedly make mistakes and go wrong. So no Christian is perfect. As a Christian you can get forgiveness in Jesus name (Yeshua) if he/she asks for it sincerely and then God sees you clean and perfect in Christ again. That is something different from becoming/being a perfect Christian.
Galatians 3:27 "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ".
Acts19:5 "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus".
A Christian is very likely to face trials, suffering, persecution, trouble and so forth. So as a Christian you will have to stay very close to GOD [in Christ's s name Yeshua] and to Christ himself in prayer. Even if that seems very difficult or even almost impossible. Moreover, you will have to be patient and keep the faith. Keep praying and asking, keep trusting and keep thanking too. And even more importantly: despite the trials, you will be and remain a personal and an active Christian! You remain a Christian yourself, namely faithful to God, God's Commandments, faithful to Christ and what Christians are asked to do and not to do with regard to behavior:
Stay true to God's 10 Commandments (Revelation 14:12);
Not to commit fornication(= not to have sex with family, animals, same sexes or dead, says the Bible in 1Corinthians 6:10);
Keep going out personally, actively, teaching, evangelizing, baptizing, etc.;
Remain just, loving and truthful;
Revelation 14:12 "Here is the patience of God's people: they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
In this way, as a Christian you are and remain an example of possible future Christians. That's how you grow in the Fruit of the Spirit and that's how you get eternal life. And times of trial are therefore what you can expect as a Christian, but what you will accomplish as a Christian by praying and acting faithfully.
Persecutions can be very diverse. Personally addressed by individuals, groups of individuals, organizations or governments. They can focus on your body, mind, family & friends, finances, work or study. Or focus on your weaknesses or where you seem to be very strong or to thwart a specific Gift. Everything is possible and often the reason behind it is hidden or distorted, so that the real reason of the persecution is not revealed, which is to undermine your faith and its spreading and faith growth. Always pray for God's Help in Jesus name or ask Jesus directly for help and helpers. Keep trusting. Keep asking. Do not give up. Show your allegiance. And thank where you can!
